LOVE is in the street....

An urban expression of LOVE.

Instead of cute flying cupids and idealistic big red hearts, I took a spin on that good old holiday that we either hate or LOVE - Valentine's Day.

The new collection is inspired by street art, super graphics, & faded textures reminiscent of life in the city - buildings, sidewalks, concrete.

Check out some of the new pieces such as the LOVE STAMP necklace... Inspired from Robert Indiana's iconic sculpture LOVE in Love Park, Philadelphia.

*LOVE Park is mixed-use urban space and a celebrated venue for Street Skateboarding, a popular form of the sport that uses natural urban features, rather than manufactured ramps.

LOVE was first created for a Christmas card for the Museum of Modern Art in 1964 and later was included on an eight-cent United States Postal Service postage stamp in 1973, the first of their regular series of "love stamps." Sculptural versions of the image have been installed at numerous American and international locations. In 1977 he created a Hebrew version with the four letter word Ahava (אהבה "love" in Hebrew) using Cor-ten steel, for the Israel Museum Art Garden in Jerusalem, Israel.

Brass base plate with hand stamped letters. Oxidized sterling silver chain.

9 bottles Red Robin Necklace featured on a blog!

I am very flattered to have my Red Robin's Egg necklace featured in the Winter Wonderland Blog by Ten23 Designs!

This artist, found on Etsy, creates custom vinyl labels, decals to be used on any surface your heart desires!

She created the custom logo for a wedding and found inspirational pieces to match in color.

Thanks for featuring me Ten 23! I think I may have to order a custom vinyl logo for my new studio!
